2010 New Balance Girls on the Run 5K

We are pleased to announce the this event is one of 10 New Balance GOTR 5K's in the US with a Kellogg's Earn Your Stripes  visit.  Come check out the Kellogg's tent on race morning to make signs to cheer on your runners.  Tony the Tiger will be cheering on all the runners, too.  Kelloggs is national GOTR sponsor.

Girls - Do your hair up right on race day at the Goody Happy Hair Station.  National race series sponsor provides all the "goodies" you will need to color (temporarily) and style your hair for the race. 


The GOTR 5K is a race open to all women and girls.  With more than 1000 Girls on the Run participants from Mesa, Delta, and Garfield County, and female relatives and women from these communities, this race will again be the largest race in the Grand Valley.  Come celebrate running and empowerment with us.

Due to the large size of the race, this race will not be officially timed.  All finishers will receive medals, a time clock will be visible at the finish line and runners can create their own runner time cards. 

T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 participants registered,
 in addition to all GOTR coaches and participants. 

Come join us for what will be a fantastic morning.
We hope to see you there - as a runner or spectator.

2009 Results
Due to the incredible turnout, times for women and girls beyond the first couple hundred (everyone who had to stop before the balloons - about 35 minutes) will not be accurate.  The time listed reflects when the balloon finish line was crossed.   (There will be some finishers' names and time that will not be listed, again due to weather and chute issues.)  We appreciate your understanding and hope to alleviate this problem next year.
